The Pound to Swiss Franc exchange rate has fallen back to its 2017 starting point levels.

Despite currently trading around the 1.2450 mark the rate has been as high as above 1.30 and as low as 1.2150. On large currency transfers such as those involved in property purchases or sales the difference between the high and low points make a considerable difference which is why being in touch with a company such as ours is important.

Not only do we offer commercial level exchange rates which will save you money on a like for like basis when compared with the typical high street bank, but we also offer options such as Limit Orders which can help clients target higher rates and trade automatically if that rate becomes available.

We’re also able to keep clients updated with the latest data releases that could potentially impact the exchange rate, for example this morning at 9.30am there will be the release of UK retail sales data which could impact rates. The expectation is for a rise in July of 0.2% so expect any major variations from this figure to result in fluctuations within the GBP/CHF pair.

Feel free to register your interest in the GBP/CHF rate with me if you wish to kept updated regarding any short term price movements.

If you have a large currency exchange to carry out in the coming days, weeks or months then you are more than welcome to speak with me directly as I will be more than happy to help you both with trying to time a transaction and getting you the top market rate when you do come to buy your currency. A small improvement in a rate of exchange can make a huge difference so for the sake of taking two minutes to email me you may find you save yourself hundreds if not thousands of Pounds. You can email me (Joseph Wright) on jxw@currencies.co.uk and I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as I can.
