Will GBPCHF keep rising?

Will GBPCHF keep rising?

Will the pound continue to rise against the Franc is a very valid question owing to the recent improvements we have seen on the GBPCHF pairing, we have very recently moved to a level that is close to the best rates to buy Francs since the Referendum in 2016! We are currently only a cent off this impressive and improved level, if you have a transfer to make buying or selling Francs there is important data this week which could move the market for you.

GBPCHF has found itself above 1.30 now on more than one occasion which considering the rate was previously heading below 1.20 is very encouraging and I believe well worth taking advantage of. If you need to buy or sell the Franc against sterling there is the UK budget tomorrow which is very important and will have a large effect on just where the currency pair goes in the future.

The Franc is a safe haven currency too which means it strengthens and weakens in times of economic uncertainty. If we see any further global economic and political uncertainty the Franc may well benefit and we could see it strengthen as investors increase their share of this solid investment. An example would be the North Korean situation which did see the Franc much stronger a few weeks and months ago.

As this has settled down in recent weeks which has also seen the Franc weaken. If you have a transfer involving the GBPCHF rates the market is looking very attractive for buyers but we could easily see this unsettle.
